For those new to the area it gives a good taste of what makes the English Lake District such a special place. Your walking tour takes in Coniston, Tarn Hows, the Langdales, Borrowdale, Latrigg & the Caldbeck fells before following the river Caldew & finishing in the historic Border City of Carlisle. 6 Manageable days walking with with packed lunches or picnics on most days. The typical daily cost for a group of 4 learning to navigate in the Pennines without accommodation is around £160. Each extra person to a maximum of 10 would be charged an additional £10 (10 persons £220). Alternatively you can have 1 to 1 navigation tuition for £90 per full day.
