Set in the heart of the Bernese Oberland Kandersteg is easily accessible by both Rail & Road from Geneva. Walking from our base at a popular village hotel, we will set out on a series of walks designed to show you some of the best sights in the area. During the week you will get one free day during which you may wish to take advantage of the many other activities on offer in the area. 8 days Normally Saturday to Saturday. A usual format is to have one or two days of acclimatisation walks, using simple valley accommodation before starting out on the trek. A favourite walk for groups crosses the Gspaltenhorn Glacier before visiting the Schilthorn & walking down the Leuterbraunen Valley. Individual requirements of your group will be discussed and a final price agreed before booking. Quite often groups like to use their own transport and this can have a bearing upon costs. June to September Cost £TBA . No Local Payment	Walking the sunniest parts of Switzerland when the flora should be at its best, is a great way to spend a holiday. Using mostly high mountain huts you'ill find yourself, in amongst the peaks for most of the trip. Sierre, our meeting point is easily accessed by train from Geneva Airport, so no need to worry about transport. After a night in St Luc we are off on our tour amongst the peaks. Rothorn & Bella Tolla are reputed to have the best views in Switzerland. Price includes: Local Transport, Hut Accommodation, Breakfast, Evening Meals plus packed lunches on walk days. 8 days: A great way to spend part of your Easter break a 5 days programme of walking amongst the snowy alpine mountains, plus a free day for you to spend in Kandersteg, on the ski slopes, or by visiting the nearby towns of Interlaken or Thun. Price includes: Snowshoe hire, 2 x Uplift Tickets, Accommodation, Evening Meals, Breakfast & 5 packed lunches. Six full days walking + a rest day mid week. The walk gives you an in depth look at this area of the Bernese Oberland, taking you through magnificent scenery from valley to valley on your trek. Accommodation will be a mixture of hotels and mountainhuts, no camping!! We take our well earned rest day mid-week refreshing ourselves for our final 3 days of trekking. Price includes: Accommodation, Evening Meals, Breakfasts & 5 packed lunches. August 2008 Cost approx £800. (Groups welcome)	11 days: We will need 9 full days of walking to fulfil this challenging trek & with views of legendary 4000m peaks throughout the trip (Matterhorn, Weisshorn & Monte Rosa) it should be one to remember. I can only take small numbers on this trip so if you are interested send for the trip notes right away. Accommodation will be mainly mountain huts but with the occasional basic hotel. Breakfasts, Evening Meals & most packed lunches will be included. Available to groups in August 2008 Cost approx £990. NOTE: Any uplifts required to be paid for by clients.
