At a briefing when you arrive at the hotel you will be given maps, route cards and information to help you with your training week prior to the race. You will of course be given lots of advice about the race route & best places to go. We find that mixed ability bikers want to choose to ride with others rather than have a group ride. South Coast & New Forest Trails: Staying at the comfortable Collingwood Hotel in the centre of Bournemouth & close to the many amenities of the city centre, we have easy mountainbike access to the New Forest & Isle of Purbeck using the many cycle routes of the area. This weekend of biking will take us on woodland trails & some of the off road cycle routes of the area. Arriving friday afternoon you can unwind in the hotesl swimming pool, sauna and jaccuzzi before your break even begins. The break normally runs from Friday afternoon until late Sunday afternoon but, you can book extra nights at our special prices to extend your break. Groups can choose to take this break on weekdays if they wish. Extra nights or different accommodation, bike hire and transport from railway station can easily be arranged. Mountain Bike Navigation can easily be included in the weekend for those who request it. We can also organise fun mountain bike orienteering events for your group or club.
